December 2011

Hello, lovely people.
I want to begin by wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and hope that everyone is fantastic!

SO. Wow, well... Yes, I'm here in Mexico and its so wonderful! Ever since the second day I arrived, it has been non-stop for me. I LOVE working with Sam (the mother, wife) and the whole Kemp family! Ive been teaching the kids school from around 8-3 every day, and driving them to and from place to place, running errands, and lots of cleaning. Its so great, and so many new faces here with the DTS students, who are soon leaving for their outreaches! They're an incredible bunch of students this year, for sure. I've enjoyed chatting with them and worshiping with them in the mornings at base meetings.

It is also great to see some familiar faces here, who I've met during summer. Some staff have come back to work with DTS, and the others who are still here.
God has been showing me a lot about not living in my past, but learning from it and moving forward in Him. He keeps reminding me that even if I technically do not have an "earthly home," he is preparing a wonderful place for me in the heavens.

The Kemps have moved into their new home right down the road. After a few intense days of packing, driving back and forth, and some long weekends of cleaning and unpacking, the house is starting to feel very much like a home. It's been a huge blessing and God has answered many of their prayers.

Along with being the tutor, nanny, housekeeper, taxi (which I am on-call for, at all hours throughout the day and night!), I have now taken on the new role of SEAMSTRESS! :) I'm finally able to bring my sewing skills into great use! Tonight Sam and I plan on sewing curtains for the house.

Life has been busy but very fun, and full of a few tears, laughter, but mostly love and thankfulness for this opportunity and blessings I have been given.

Miss you all.
